Architecture

A starter should remove integration work—not hide it.

Every major capability is visible, typed, testable, and replaceable. The template is intentionally organized so product teams can understand where data, vendors, and business rules meet.

01

Product routes

Marketing, authentication, dashboard, account, billing, files, API keys, admin, and AI surfaces.

02

Stable module APIs

Product code calls mail, payment, newsletter, notification, storage, and AI contracts—not vendor SDKs.

03

Typed persistence

Drizzle owns Better Auth and application tables on Cloudflare D1, with generated migrations.

04

Edge runtime

TanStack Start SSR, D1, R2, KV, Email, and Workers AI deploy together on Cloudflare Workers.

Product-first design

Real workflows are the acceptance standard.

A provider adapter is not considered complete until a user can finish the corresponding workflow: verify an email, complete checkout, manage billing, upload and download a private file, create and revoke a key, or operate an admin control.
